Test Engineer

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct product testing for our rebar tying robots and other equipment — develop test plans, record data, troubleshoot issues during testing, write test reports, and provide product improvement recommendations.
  2. Handle after-sales service, including travel to construction sites or client-specified locations to perform equipment installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair, ensuring stable equipment operation.
  3. Liaise with clients to answer questions about equipment operation and usage; conduct basic operation training; improve user experience and maintain client relationships.
  4. Collect client feedback on product issues and pain points from after-sales activities; compile and relay insights to the R&D team to support product iteration.
  5. Manage and document testing tools and after-sales spare parts; maintain accurate records of business travel and after-sales logs.
  6. Support the team with other tasks as needed; adapt flexibly to the working style of an early-stage company and proactively fill in where needed.

Requirements

  1. Education: Associate degree or above; majors in mechatronics, mechanical design and manufacturing, automation, or electronic information preferred. Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with a directly relevant background.
  2. Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience; candidates with equipment testing or on-site after-sales experience preferred. Outstanding fresh graduates (relevant major, strong learning ability) are also welcome.
  3. Technical skills: Basic knowledge of electromechanical equipment principles; ability to troubleshoot common device faults; basic testing mindset; willingness to learn about rebar tying robot products.
  4. Personal qualities: Willing to travel (primarily within China; occasional overseas travel possible, e.g. Singapore, the US, the Middle East); hardworking, responsible, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Other requirements: Good physical health; able to work in construction site environments; adaptable and a strong learner; aligned with the culture of an early-stage company and willing to grow with us.

Compensation

Approximately RMB 6,000/month (negotiable based on experience and ability)
