Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time control and motion planning algorithms for autonomous construction robots.
- Develop sensor fusion systems integrating LiDAR, cameras, and IMU for robot perception and localization.
- Build and maintain Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) packages for task execution and inter-system communication.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate software with hardware systems.
- Conduct field testing on construction sites and iterate rapidly based on real-world performance data.
- Write clean, well-tested code and maintain clear technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in robotics software development (ROS/ROS2, C++, Python).
- Solid understanding of SLAM, path planning, or motion control algorithms.
- Experience with sensor integration (LiDAR, depth cameras, IMU) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
